What: Lake Effects will be performing a concert

Program: Come and hear good Southern Gospel music. The group’s new CD will be available. A freewill offering will be taken.

What: “Buried Treasure” Women’s Conference
When: Saturday, Oct. 23, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Where: Central Assembly of God, 3000 Hammond Ave., Superior, Wis.
Speakers: Jackie Elm, Lynn Jones and Kami Scott.
Program: Have you ever had the thought, “I don’t know who I am?” As you look back over your life, are there unused talents such as drawing, playing an instrument, sewing or photography? This conference is designed to help you rediscover those talents and use them. Tap this unused God-given talent to bring joy into your life. Admission is free.
